About ANIQO

ANIQO is the musical project of Berlin-based singer, composer, and poet Anita Goß. Her music moves between dark art pop, spiritual folk, and cinematic songwriting. Her work moves between electronic dark pop, cinematic folk and experimental songwriting, defined by a strong emotional narrative, a distinctive ethereal voice and an uncompromising artistic vision.

Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album BIRTH (SPRINGSTOFF, 2022), ANIQO received international media coverage from Rolling Stone, CLASH, Wonderland Magazine and taz, and performed at renowned festivals and showcases including Fusion Festival and Pop-Kultur Berlin.

ANIQO is currently entering a new artistic phase. Her latest single “The Call”, along a Remix created in collaboration with Howie B (Björk, Massive Attack), marks a shift towards a more spiritual, reduced and cinematic sound.

Her upcoming second album Earth, Love and Variations, produced by Bill Ryder-Jones (The Coral), is scheduled for release in November 2026. The new material is more organic and expansive, rooted in folk and cinematic art pop, and designed for an immersive live experience.

The album marks a departure from darkness and a turn toward clarity, spirituality, and hope – thematically dedicated to love in all its forms: from self-love as a foundation to universal love.
